COVID-19 MISSION STATEMENT

 

To continue to be able to operate a fun, truly Canadian, high quality, self-contained, limited, outdoor winter offering that complies with and exceeds, COVID-19 risk mitigation measures as outlined by the Provincial Health Officer of British Columbia. 

 

HOW WE ARE DEALING WITH COVID-19

 

PROTOCOLS TO REDUCE RISKS AND KEEP OUR VALUED PATRONS SAFE

  • Operations have been modified to include COVID-19 recommendations of safe practice
  • Shuttle service from Jasper has been eradicated for this season to prevent close contact of people
  • Tours have been reduced to one tour/day midweek and 2/day on weekends and holidays
  • The maximum number of sleds and guests/tour has been reduced overall
  • Driving tandem with guides is no longer possible…guests who are on guided sleds must be seated in the sled
  • Staff are screened and temperature checked daily
  • High contact areas are sanitized regularly

 

GUEST SAFETY – PLEASE FOLLOW ALL GUIDELINES FOR YOUR TOUR

  • Guests are required to self-screen prior to arrival and will be sent our “COVID-19 CODE OF CONDUCT” document in their confirmation that must be read prior to arrival for your tour.
  • Guests will stay within their cohorts and will not mix with other cohorts
  • Please adhere to all social distancing requirements and follow social distancing signage at all times.
  • Where social distancing is not possible, face masks/coverings must be worn
  • All persons must have a face mask on them at all times for when it is needed
  • Hand sanitation stations are set up to be used pre and post tour
  • Signage and lineage are in place to implement protocols

 

All guests and staff at Cold Fire Creek Dogsledding Ltd must make every effort possible to follow the guidelines outlined in this document, and federal and provincial government regulations to help reduce the spread of Covid-19.
